As Terry Pratchett wrote, "All mushrooms are edible. Some mushrooms are edible only once."

Why am I saying this? I finally got around to watching François Ozon's film "When Autumn Falls." Generally, I love Ozon's work, and when the director is in form, he produces either masterpieces like "In the House" or very good films like "Frantz" or "My Crime."

Here it's closer to the latter, but that's not bad. A measured narrative, gray morality throughout the film, an unpredictable plot, and beautiful landscapes of the Paris suburbs – all of this is present, even though the film is about a grandmother who just wanted to hang out with her grandson (not the most exciting synopsis, to be honest).

In short, I recommend watching it for those who are close to the work of the Frenchman, whose new film and unique interpretation of Albert Camus's cult classic we will be able to see in early March.
