The scene was filmed at The clubhouse of the Vancouver Rowing Club was originally built in Tudor style in 1911 on the far shore of Vancouver's Coal Harbour by the Vancouver Club. Later, the club building was moved across the harbor to its current location and rebuilt on stationary piles. The Vancouver building is a heritage site.
