The scene was filmed at Located beneath the current Bay Station, Bay Lower operated for only six months in 1966. Since then, the platform has been used by the TTC for operator training and design experiments, and has often been used for filming to avoid disrupting regular subway service.

The scene was filmed at Union Station in Toronto is the largest railway station in Canada and the third station to bear this name. Construction of the station began in 1914 east of the old station, but although the building was completed in 1920, trains did not begin running through it until 1927 due to a dispute over the tracks. In 1975, the building was designated a National Historic Site of Canada, and in 1999 it was inducted into the Railway Hall of Fame. Currently, the station serves Via Rail, Amtrak, and GO Transit trains, as well as the dedicated Union Pearson Express to the airport and subway trains passing through the station under Front Street.
