The scene was filmed at Union Station in Toronto - the largest railway station in Canada and the third station to bear this name. Construction of the station began in 1914 east of the old station, but although the building was completed in 1920, trains only started running through it in 1927 due to a dispute over the tracks. In 1975, the building was designated a National Historic Site of Canada, and in 1999 it was inducted into the Railway Hall of Fame. Currently, the station serves Via Rail, Amtrak, and GO Transit trains, as well as the dedicated Union Pearson Express to the airport and subway trains running through the station under Front Street.

Bryant Park

The scene was filmed at Bryant Park is located in the city center, home to the New York Public Library. Originally opened in 1847 as Reservoir Square, it was renamed Bryant Park in 1884. Over the years, the park deteriorated until a renovation in the 1980s, when the entire park was rebuilt over the newly constructed underground library stacks.

Bay Lower Station (TTC)

The scene was filmed at Located beneath the current Bay Station, Bay Lower operated for only six months in 1966. Since then, the platform has been used by the TTC for operator training and design experiments, and has often been used for filming to avoid disrupting regular subway service.
