The scene was filmed at The "Los Angeles Center Studios" began its life in 1958 as the "Union Oil Center", designed by architect William Pereira and Charles Luckman in the Miesian style. In 1999, a few years after Unocal's headquarters moved, the complex was converted into a film studio with the construction of 6 sound stages. The main office tower and surrounding streets were repurposed as a permanent backlot, where sets were built including offices, a police station, a hospital, a morgue, elevators in several different styles, a garage, and much more.
