The scene was filmed Along with the building across the street, this building was built in the 1950s for the Workers' Compensation Board, then transferred to the RCMP in the 80s as an expansion of the RCMP 'E' Division headquarters. Since 2014, after the RCMP moved to a new headquarters in Surrey, the building has been managed by the Public Health Services Authority, and has since become popular with film crews.

The scene was filmed The building at 5255 Heather Street, originally built as an office for the BC Workers Compensation Board, was transferred to the RCMP in the 1970s to join the growing RCMP 'E' Division headquarters. The building became vacant after the RCMP moved to a new headquarters in Surrey, completed in late 2012. In 2014, the building was transferred to the Public Health Services Authority, which leased it for film shoots.

The scene was filmed Built in 1907 by architect Samuel Maclure, this Arts and Crafts style house was built for Charles J. Peter, manager of the company that led the development of this area of Burnaby. In 1927, the house was turned into Seton Academy, a school for girls run by the Sisters of Charity of Halifax. In 1970, the mansion was again converted into a residence for the elderly.

Bloedel Conservatory (Queen Elizabeth Park)

The scene was filmed First conceived to celebrate Canada's centennial, the conservatory was built in 1969 on top of a reservoir at the highest point in Vancouver. The triodetic dome, 140 feet in diameter and 70 feet high, contains over 200 species of birds and 500 species of plants.

The scene was filmed Located on the remnants of an old WWII army base, North 40 is a large off-leash dog park adjacent to Boundary Bay Airport, popular with producers for its easily controlled streets and variety of overgrown trails. Originally these roads were part of the Vancouver Wireless Station, built for the Canadian Army Signal Corps during WWII and operating until 1971.
