In episode 1x06 "Chapter 6", Lenny conducts therapy sessions with all team members in her office in the dream version of the hospital, and David is denied pie in the cafeteria. In episode 1x07 "Chapter 7", Lenny waits in the office for David to weaken so she can take over him.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at The building at 5255 Heather Street, originally built as an office for the BC Workers Compensation Board, was transferred to the RCMP in the 1970s to join the growing "E" Division headquarters. The building became vacant after the RCMP moved to a new headquarters in Surrey, completed in late 2012. In 2014, the building was transferred to the Provincial Health Services Authority, which leases it for film shoots.

Whytecliff Park

Scene where Young David and Amy play with their dog on the beach in episode 1x03 "Chapter 3". Amy and David play in a flashback when Amy tells Dr. Pool that they never had a dog as children in episode 1x04 "Chapter 4".

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Whytecliff Park, located next to Horseshoe Bay, is a beautiful rocky beach and surrounding park. The park's most prominent feature is the tidal island Whyte Islet and stunning views of Howe Sound.

Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (UBC)

Scene where Melanie walks down a corridor heading to where Oliver is frozen in episode 1x07 "Chapter 7".

In Reality

The scene was filmed at The Chan Centre is a magnificent concert venue located on the campus of the University of British Columbia. The main concert hall, Chan Shun Concert Hall, features a distinctive floating canopy and beautiful teak wood walls. The smaller Telus Studio Theatre has three-tiered seating that can be moved into various configurations. The building also houses a small cinema, the Royal Bank Cinema, a beautiful soaring foyer, and various versatile backstage spaces.

Alley (south of Alexander, west of Gore)

Scene where Lenny explains how she stole the stove while walking down an alley in episode 1x02 "Chapter 2". Lenny wheels David down the alley in a cart while Syd, Melanie, and Ptonomy walk by. Melanie introduces Syd to child-David, and Syd hugs him in episode 1x03 "Chapter 3".

Scene where Clark's husband and son visit him in the hospital while he recovers from burns. Then Clark convinces his superiors to allow him to return to duty in episode 1x08 "Chapter 8".

The scene was filmed at This building opened in 1934 as a treatment center for World War I veterans. It included a main building and a separate dining block for veterans. The main building was expanded in 1945 and reopened in 1949 as the Crease Clinic of Psychological Medicine, a short-term psychological treatment center. The building is now used almost exclusively for film shoots.

The scene was filmed at Along with the building across the street, this building was built in the 1950s for the Workers' Compensation Board, then transferred to the RCMP in the 80s as an extension of the "E" Division RCMP headquarters. The scene was filmed at This library, designed by Arthur Erickson and opened in 1997, occupies a central place on the UBC campus. With its postmodern architecture, the entire building was designed to resemble an open book. Originally intended to be expanded backwards, development plans changed, and the building now ends with a simple plaster wall, contrasting with the expressive glass facade at the front.
