The scene was filmed at The Reform Club is a private members' club built in 1841 by architect Sir Charles Barry in the Italian Renaissance style. Originally founded as an all-male club and home to progressive political parties, it was the first of its kind to admit women in 1981, and currently, after the decline of the Liberal Party, has shifted to a less political role.

The scene was filmed at Osterley House was built in 1761 for Sir Francis Child to replace an outdated brick house that had occupied the site since 1576. The current structure, designed by Robert Adam, retained the brick and stone materials of the original building but differs significantly in design. The interior is decorated in an elegant neoclassical style.
