The scene was filmed at Hampton Court Palace, construction began in 1515 for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, but after 14 years he fell out of favor and the palace was given to King Henry VIII and has remained under royal control ever since. The palace consists of several long halls surrounding several inner courtyards. Extensive gardens surround the palace down to the River Thames and include several fountains and a hedge maze.
