The scene was filmed Along with the building across the street, this building was built in the 1950s for the Workers' Compensation Board, and then transferred to the RCMP in the 80s as an extension of the "E" Division RCMP headquarters. Since 2014, after the RCMP moved to a new headquarters in Surrey, the building has been managed by the Public Health Services Authority, and it has been popular with film renters since then.

The scene was filmed A small log cabin in the secluded Murdo Frazer Park in North Vancouver stands next to a beautiful lake and is surrounded on all sides by tall trees. You wouldn't even know it's surrounded by houses and located a block from the highway.
