The scene was filmed at Trafalgar Square is a large public square opened in 1844 after nearly twenty years of construction designed by architect John Nash. The square is named after the British naval victory in the Battle of Trafalgar, and features Nelson's Column, a 218-foot monument to Admiral Nelson who died in the battle. At the north end of the square is the National Gallery, and beneath it is Charing Cross underground station.

The scene was filmed at The Reform Club is a private members' club built in 1841 by architect Sir Charles Barry in the Italian Renaissance style. Originally founded as an all-male club and home to progressive political parties, it became the first of its kind to admit women in 1981, and now, after the decline of the Liberal Party, has shifted to a less political role.
