The scene was filmed at Tate Modern is a gallery of modern art, opened in 2000 and the second most popular museum in England, after the British Museum, receiving over 5.8 million visitors annually. The museum was built in the decommissioned Bankside Power Station building, which operated on coal and oil from 1891 to 1981. After the station closed, several attempts were made to list the building as a historic structure, but they were rejected. The Tate Group acquired the building in 1994 and spent about £134 million converting it into a museum.

The Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, originally located in the center of the circle but moved as roads changed, was built in 1892 in memory of the Victorian politician Lord Shaftesbury.
