The scene was filmed at Osterley House, built in 1761 for Sir Francis Child, replacing an outdated brick house that had occupied the site since 1576. The current building, designed by Robert Adam, retained the brick and stone materials of the original structure but differs significantly in design. The interior is decorated in an elegant neoclassical style.
