The scene was filmed at The old provincial prison of Malaga was built in 1933 according to the design of architect Vicente Agustí Elguero. The construction of the new provincial prison of Alhaurín de la Torre in 1991 began the slow closure of the prison, which finally closed in 2009. Since then, several attempts have been made to convert the prison into a cultural center, the latest of which is expected to be completed by 2025.
