The scene was filmed at Osgoode Hall, designed by John Ewart and William Warren Baldwin in Neoclassical and Palladian styles. It opened in 1832 to house the lawyers of the Ontario Legislative Assembly and their law school, which was later renamed Osgoode Hall Law School. Today, the building houses various provincial courts and the Law Society of Ontario with its Great Library.
