Scene was filmed at A Gothic Revival mansion built in 1914 for Sir Henry Mill Pellatt at a hefty sum of $3.5 million. After several owners, the mansion became city property in 1933 and was soon leased to the Kiwanis Club for 74 years. Currently, the mansion is open for tours.

Scene was filmed at The home of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Canada in Hamilton, the Scottish Rite Club was built in 1884 by the owner of the Tuckett Tobacco Company. The house was acquired by the Scottish Rite in 1920 and expanded, adding a rotunda and a large cathedral housing a 3,000-pipe organ. In addition to housing the Scottish Rite Masons of Hamilton Valley, it is a popular venue for weddings and meetings for various other community groups.
