The scene was filmed at the Home of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Canada in Hamilton. The Scottish Rite Club was built in 1884 by the owner of the Tuckett Tobacco Company. The house was purchased by the Scottish Rite in 1920 and expanded, adding a rotunda and a large cathedral housing a 3,000-pipe organ. In addition to housing the Scottish Rite Masons of Hamilton Valley, it is a popular venue for weddings and meetings for various other community groups.
