The director (and screenwriter) of "The Breakfast Club," John Hughes, is a graduate of Glenbrook North High School. Some interior scenes of "The Breakfast Club" were filmed at Glenbrook North, and exterior shots of GBN were used in the films "The Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
