The scene was filmed at Second Avenue, which boasts the best concentration of Victorian commercial facades in Nashville. Most of the two- to five-story buildings date from 1870-1890 and served as warehouses and stores for goods transported along the Cumberland River. Since the 1970s, there has been a trend of adaptive reuse and renovation of historic buildings, resulting in shops, restaurants, galleries, and residences in previously vacant or underused buildings. Particularly notable is the Silver Dollar Saloon, now part of the Hard Rock Cafe at the corner of Second Avenue and Broadway, which served as entertainment for riverboat workers docking at the wharf at the foot of Broadway.

Currently owned and operated by Opry Entertainment, it is the longest-running radio broadcast in US history. Dedicated to honoring country music and its history, the Opry showcases a mix of famous singers and contemporary chart-toppers performing country, bluegrass, Americana, folk, and gospel music, as well as comedic performances and skits. It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world and millions of radio and internet listeners. Appearing on the Opry remains one of the highest achievements in country music. Country music legends such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Roy Acuff, the Carter Family, Bill Monroe, Ernest Tubb, Kitty Wells, and Minnie Pearl were regulars on the Opry stage throughout its history. In recent decades, modern country stars like Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Blake Shelton, Chris Young, and Ricky Skaggs have performed at the Opry.

The scene was filmed at Edwin Warner Park and Percy Warner Park, known as Warner Parks, are two large public parks in Nashville, Tennessee. They are part of the park system managed by the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation of Nashville and Davidson County. The main entrance to Percy Warner Park is at the end of Belle Meade Boulevard. The parks are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Warner Park Historic District. This area lies primarily within Nashville along the southern border of Davidson County, Tennessee, but extends into Williamson County, Tennessee. The impressive stone staircase at the end of Belle Meade Boulevard is one of the most famous landmarks of Warner Park. Known as the Allée, the staircase serves as the "front door" of Percy Warner Park for motorists and non-motorized traffic.

The scene was filmed at The Bluebird Cafe, a 90-seat music club in Nashville, Tennessee, opened in 1982. The club features acoustic music performed by songwriters. The Bluebird Cafe is one of the premier listening rooms in the world, and this venue has gained worldwide recognition as a place where "the heroes behind the hits" perform their own songs; songs that have been recorded by chart-topping artists in all genres of music. Located in a small strip mall outside downtown Nashville, this small establishment is unassuming in appearance, but its stage has hosted some of the most significant songwriters and artists. The Bluebird features both aspiring songwriters and those whose music regularly charts, including country, pop, rock, and contemporary Christian hits. Kathy Mattea was the first star identified with the Bluebird, and to this day she remains a friend and regular guest. Garth Brooks performed at our Open Mic nights and Sunday songwriter shows before being discovered—at the Bluebird—and signed to Capitol Records. The cast and crew filmed here only for the first episode of the series. The rest of the series was filmed at a replica of the Bluebird Cafe.

Additionally, Gray Line capitalizes on the show's popularity by offering a bus tour of Nashville. During the tour, you can visit, in addition to this location, the homes of Rayna, Scarlett, and Lamar, see The 5 Spot, go inside the Bluebird Cafe, and much more. The tour lasts three and a half hours every Thursday and Saturday.
