The scene was filmed at the United States Capitol, often called the Capitol Building, is the home of the United States Congress and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It is located on Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Although no longer at the geographic center of the federal district, the Capitol is the starting point for the district's street numbering system and the district's four quadrants. The original building was completed in 1800 and was subsequently expanded, particularly with the addition of the massive dome built between 1855 and 1866.

White House

The scene was filmed at the White House, the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., it has been the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800. The residence was designed by Irish-born architect James Hoban in the Neoclassical style. Hoban modeled the building on Leinster House in Dublin.

The scene was filmed at the Biltmore Estate, a historic house museum and tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina. Biltmore House, the main residence, is a Châteauesque-style mansion built for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895, and is the largest privately owned house in the United States at 178,926 square feet (16,622.8 m2) (135,280 square feet of living area). Still owned by George Vanderbilt's descendants, it remains one of the most prominent examples of the Gilded Age mansions.

The scene was filmed at the National Gallery of Art and its adjacent Sculpture Garden, a national art museum in Washington, D.C., located on the National Mall. Open to the public and free of charge, the museum was established in 1937 privately for the American people by a joint resolution of the United States Congress. Andrew W. Mellon donated a substantial art collection and funds for construction.
