The scene was filmed at Sherars Bridge Highway, also known as Oregon Route 216, is a state highway in Oregon. The length of OR 216 is 61.30 miles (98.65 km) and runs east-west. In the distance, Mount Hood is visible, which the Multnomah tribe calls Wy'east. It is a potentially active stratovolcano. The height of the snow-capped peak of Mount Hood has changed throughout its history. But the volcano is the highest point in Oregon.
