In Reality

The scene was filmed at Tsing Shan Monastery, also known as Castle Peak Monastery, located at the foot of Castle Peak, near Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. The monastery is a Grade I historic building. Tsing Shan Temple is the oldest among Hong Kong's temples. Inside the temple is the main worship hall, and in front of the stairs leading to the hall, you can see the inscription "一切有情、同登覺地" (All beings have connections and attain nirvana together). The peaceful atmosphere of this Buddhist temple gives an indelible sense of harmony.
