The scene was filmed at The Dallas County Administration Building, formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository, is a seven-story building on Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. This building was the location used by Lee Harvey Oswald during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. On Presidents' Day 1989, the sixth floor opened to the public as The Sixth Floor Museum with exhibits related to the assassination. 23 years later, a gallery opened on the seventh floor. Originally, it was a storage space. Filming took place on the seventh floor of the Dallas County Administration Building.
