The scene was filmed at Killiney Hill and Dalkey Hill are part of Killiney Hill Park, a small public park with views of the villages of Dalkey to the north and Killiney to the west. In 1887, the park was given to the public by Prince Albert Victor of Wales. Originally it was called Victoria Hill. The park has several walking paths.

The scene was filmed at The statue of Phil Lynott is a bronze statue located in the center of Dublin. It pays tribute to Phil Lynott, the Irish singer and bassist who was a famous member of the band Thin Lizzy. Lynott died on January 4, 1986. The statue was created by Paul Daly and cast by Leo Higgins. Phil's mother Philomena unveiled the statue in 2005 near the Bruxelles bar on Harry Street.

It was planned and built in the late 18th century. Over the centuries, many prominent Dubliners have lived on the square: lawyers, clergymen, politicians, writers, and artists. Writer James Joyce lived in the vicinity of the square during his formative years.

The scene was filmed at Fusiliers' Arch is a monument at the entrance to St Stephen's Green in Dublin. It is dedicated to the officers, non-commissioned officers, and privates of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers who fought and died during the Second Boer War (1899-1902). It was erected in 1907.
