The scene was filmed at The Anglican cathedral on Ludgate Hill was built in the late 17th century to replace an earlier cathedral destroyed in the Great Fire of London. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the English Baroque style and was the tallest building in the city from its completion in 1710 until 1967.

Palais-Royal - Galerie de Valois

The scene was filmed at The Galerie de Valois is one of the arcaded galleries inside the Palais-Royal. It runs along the eastern side of its gardens, parallel to Rue de Valois.

The scene was filmed at Rue des Barres is a short street (150 yards) with a long history. In medieval Paris, water mills stood on the banks of the Seine; one was called Moulin des Barres, likely named after a defensive barrier that once stood there. The Rue des Barres appears on one of the earliest detailed maps of Paris (as R. des Bares) from 1550, shown between Rue Mortellerie (today's Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville) and La Porte Baudets (Rue François Miron).
