The scene was filmed at Pont des Arts - a bridge over the Seine River. The bridge connects the Collège des Quatre-Nations of the Institut de France with the Cour Carrée of the Louvre. It owes its name to the Louvre, which during the First French Empire was called the "Palace of the Arts". The bridge is 155 m long and 11 m wide.
