The scene was filmed at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the only cemetery in Hollywood and also one of the oldest in Los Angeles, dating back to 1899. The original cemetery area was 60 acres, but the southern half was sold to Paramount Pictures for the construction of Paramount Studios in 1920. Since 2002, summer film screenings have been regularly held at the cemetery, projected onto the Cathedral Mausoleum.
