The film "Downton Abbey 2" was filmed in the summer of 2021 in the south of England, including the wedding scene in Sudbury, street scenes in Harwich, and a party scene at a mansion in Bedfordshire. Also reused are the usual locations at Highclere Castle and Bampton, Oxfordshire. The filming of a key scene also took place in Le Pradet, France.
