The filming of 'Last Christmas' took place in central London: the exterior facade of the 'Yuletide' store was recreated on a path at Covent Garden Market, and other scenes were shot nearby, such as the places Tom takes Kate, including the narrowest alley. The iconic ice rink at Alexandra Palace was also used, and the lesser-known Phoenix Garden was turned into a winter garden (just a few minutes' walk from Leicester Square). Some scenes were also filmed in the Isle of Dogs area, Regent Street, and Albert Bridge.

The scene was filmed Regent Street is a major shopping street in the West End of London. It is named after George, the Prince Regent (later George IV), and was laid out under the direction of architect John Nash and James Burton. I Regent Street is approximately 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long and begins at the intersection with Charles II Street, continuing from Waterloo Place. Christmas lighting on Regent Street has existed in various forms since 1882. The current regular lighting began in 1948 when the Regent Street Association decorated the street with Christmas trees. Since 1954, the Regent Street Association has organized Christmas lights annually. Different garlands are installed each year, and the switch-on ceremony takes place in November.
