The scene was filmed at Villa Vizcaya - the main house of the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, formerly known as Villa Vizcaya, is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering, owner of the Deering McCormick-International Harvester company, on Biscayne Bay in the present-day Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The early 20th-century Vizcaya estate includes: extensive Italian Renaissance-style gardens, a native forest landscape, and a historic complex of outbuildings. The landscape and architecture were influenced by Venetian and Tuscan models of the Italian Renaissance and were designed in the Mediterranean Revival architectural style with Baroque elements. Paul Chalfin was the design director. Currently, Miami-Dade County owns the Vizcaya estate as the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, which is open to the public.
