The scene was filmed at the Eiffel Tower (la tour Eiffel) - a monument, one of the most famous and visited landmarks in France. The tower was built for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel and two assistants - engineers Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier. When it was first built, before it received the name of its creator, the Eiffel Tower was called the "300-meter tower." Its height was exactly 984 feet. However, on the opening day, March 31, it was topped with a large flagpole from which the French flag was unfurled, resulting in the tower's height becoming just over 312 meters (1024 feet). The Eiffel Tower reached a height of 330 meters (1,083 feet) on March 15, 2022, after the installation of a new antenna.

Niagara Falls

Scene where Clark Kent and Lois Lane are at Niagara Falls when a boy falls from it. Fortunately, Superman is nearby to save the day.

In reality

The scene was filmed at Niagara Falls - the collective name for three waterfalls located on the international border between Canada and the United States. The three waterfalls, from largest to smallest, are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls drop about 57 meters (187 feet). The peak flow rate at Horseshoe Falls was recorded at 6,400 cubic meters (230,000 cubic feet) per second.
