Riders used this path to travel to and from the city center. Following it, you will end up almost in Victoria Park behind the Circus and Royal Crescent, offering a beautiful view of the backs of the houses and their gardens on Gay Street.

The scene was filmed Trafalgar Park (also known as Trafalgar House, formerly Standlynch Park) is a large Georgian country house about 1.4 miles (2.3 km) northeast of the village of Downton. It was built in 1733 and is now a Grade I listed building. These grounds also housed Anne's room during her stay in Lyme Regis.

The scene was filmed The harbor wall of Lyme Regis is called The Cobb and was built as a breakwater to protect ships and the town. Filming took place in June 2021 along the famous harbor wall. The area adjacent to the Marine Aquarium on The Cobb was closed to the public as filming continued throughout the day. The production company also occupied car parks at Holmbush and Sidmouth Road. Horse-drawn carriages were placed on The Cobb, which gained fame from the film "The French Lieutenant's Woman."
