In reality
The scene was filmed in the Tuileries Garden. The Tuileries Garden (Jardin des Tuileries) is a public garden located between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. It is the oldest park in Paris. It was laid out in 1564 as the garden of the Tuileries Palace, a former royal palace that was destroyed by a severe fire in the 19th century. It served as a link between the two wings of the Louvre. After the French Revolution, it became a public park. In the western part of the garden, near the Place de la Concorde, there are two ramps Fer á Cheval in the shape of a horseshoe and two terraces overlooking the octagonal Bassin Octogonal lake, 60 m in diameter, and a fountain with powerful jets of water shooting from all corners towards the center.
