Mission: Impossible is a film series that has always covered a wide geography of filming locations. The new installment is no exception and was filmed in the Arabian deserts, Abu Dhabi Airport, the streets of Venice, near the most famous landmarks of Rome, on the scenic railway lines of Norway, and the lakes of England.

The scene was filmed The scene was filmed on one of the most beautiful railways in the world, namely the Rauma railway line in northwestern Norway. The entire train set with carriages was built for the scene, as there was no train on site that could be wrecked. The blown-up bridge does not exist in reality and was added by computer graphics. But the creators clearly took inspiration from the existing Kylling Bridge from 1921, which is located on this railway line.
