The scene was filmed at the Cathedral Square in Florence, Italy. Some buildings were added with computer graphics, such as the main building of the World Government.

The scene where the exterior of Shells Town and the headquarters of the 153rd Marine Division are shown.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in Positano, an Italian village with a very interesting view. But it was not without computer adjustments; as you can see, some buildings were added and the color of houses was changed.

The Sea

The scene where the action takes place on the water, including shots of the ship, water battles, the restaurant where the whole crew first dined, then got into a fight, and ended with a duel challenge. The duel scene itself and many wide shots.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Cape Town film studio, South Africa. There are large and deep pools needed, as well as the ability to build necessary sets. The team decided not only to use computer graphics but also to build entire locations, as this makes the world of the series more vivid and interesting.
