The scene was filmed at the Abalak country complex, near Tobolsk. This location is ideal for filming fairy tales, as it contains a large number of buildings in the Old Russian style, including those built in the image of fairy tales. The complex is open to all visitors.

Underground Kingdom

Scene where Emelya, to fulfill the princess's wish, descends into the underground kingdom.
