The film was shot in Murmansk, where location shooting took place, and in St. Petersburg, where scenes were filmed in pavilions. For example, the storm scene was planned to be shot in co-production with Luxembourg in Belgium (there is a special pool designed for water filming). But due to the pandemic, the co-production fell through, and everything was shot in St. Petersburg.

The scene was filmed in a pavilion in St. Petersburg. Part of the ship with cabins and the captain's bridge were built in a special tent. The ship was placed on a special device that lifted and rocked the constructed structure. Several water slides were also built to dump huge amounts of water onto the ship's deck. This structure was built in warehouses behind Parnas.
