Although it is unusual for a Russian series, it was filmed in a huge number of locations not only in Russia but also in Europe, including Romania, Germany, and Turkey. According to the series director Vladimir Raksha, the first season was filmed in more than 27 locations around the world.

The scene was filmed on the territory of the abandoned Krasny Treugolnik (Red Triangle) factory in St. Petersburg. Judging by the appearance, the creators of the series cleaned up the area, restored the walls, and painted over the graffiti.

The scene was filmed Initially, the house was supposed to be filmed in Germany, but due to the inability of the film crew to travel abroad, they decided to use the dacha of Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich. For a more authentic look, they only had to add a sign in German.

The scene was filmed in the premises of the former "Second Mutual Credit Society" in St. Petersburg, specifically in the hall with bank vaults. The vaults and the society itself are, of course, no longer there, but interesting staircases and room decoration have been preserved. This location is situated in the building of a shopping center at Sadovaya 34.
