The filming geography is very extensive and covers a large number of regions of Russia from the Moscow region to Dagestan, including Chechnya and Ingushetia. This is dictated by the fact that almost all the filming was on location, including on specially built sets, and Bremen and its surroundings, according to the film's plot, are located in a mountainous area.
