Despite the series' plot and many scenes set in China, all scenes were primarily filmed in London, UK, with some in the outskirts. A few scenes were also shot in the USA, Boston, and Florida.

The scene was filmed at Shepperton Studios, located in the southwestern suburbs of London. The university is a constructed set of the entrance group, while the university itself and surrounding buildings are computer graphics.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the bar "The Holly Bush", located on the northwestern outskirts of London.

Chinese Prison

Scene where we see the exterior of a prison in China.

In Reality

The scene was filmed This building does not exist in the form shown. As you can see, although the base is a real building, too much was added or redrawn using computer graphics. The base for the building is the former coal warehouse "Metropolitan Storage Warehouse", which has now been converted into office and residential space.

Black Palace

In the Movie

Scene where we see the exterior of the Strategic Intelligence Agency headquarters in London, also known as the "Black Palace".

In Reality

The scene was filmed on the south bank of the Thames near London Bridge, but such a building does not exist there because it was added with computer graphics, and not only that. As you can see, the bridge on the left was also slightly modernized.
