The film was shot in Russia, in the cities of Kirovsk, Apatity, and Novorossiysk, as well as in China, in the city of Shanghai. This is the first film to feature international filming after the Covid-21 pandemic.

The scene was filmed in the courtyard of a house at 10 Mira Street in Novorossiysk, a classic courtyard in Stalin-era buildings. The playground had to be dismantled for filming, but it was restored afterward.
