The action takes place in an alternative America in the mid-1990s. Animatronic robots created for Disneyland became sentient and started a war with humanity. After the defeat of the rebelling robots, they were exiled to a «forbidden zone» in the desert in the southwestern United States (Seattle and San Francisco). The main character, Michelle, travels across the country in search of her missing brother. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a civil war with robots that once served humans.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Space Needle — an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is the most recognizable landmark in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and a symbol of the city. The tower is located on the grounds of the Seattle Center exhibition complex, which was built for the 1962 World's Fair. The tower is now privately owned.

Scene where one day the robots suddenly rebelled against their creators. Humans declared war on the robots, which ultimately led to catastrophic consequences. Years later, civilization collapsed. Many robots were sent to an isolated settlement called the Electric State.
