The filming process of Karen Oganesyan's movie took place in Moscow and North Ossetia. The North Caucasian republic was specifically chosen for the shooting. "In North Ossetia, there is the village of Dargavs, famous for its stunning views, beautiful architecture, and a unique landmark — the necropolis 'City of the Dead'. I have known this place since my university days: its history leaves a strong impression. We decided to include it in the film to, at least indirectly, tell viewers about this amazing monument and draw attention to it," shared Benik Arakelyan, the film's producer and idea author. According to Arakelyan, the main feature of the necropolis is related to its history. "When people fell ill with the plague, to avoid endangering their relatives, they went to the crypts, where they found their final resting place," he explained.

Scene where The main character, million-follower blogger Egor, after arriving at the airport meets Alexander, a worker at a local car rental. Their meeting begins with Alexander asking for a joint selfie, so Egor takes the man for just an ordinary fan.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Vladikavkaz Airport. The spacious terminal with large panoramic windows offering views of the picturesque Caucasus mountains creates an atmosphere combining modernity and natural beauty. The surrounding area was used on the set; we can even see the airport sign in the frame.

Mountain Road

Scene where the first open conflict between Alexander and Egor occurs. Egor starts a live stream during the trip and tries to show his companion to subscribers, but Alexander is not thrilled with this idea – he sets a condition: 'Film whatever you want, but I must stay off-camera.' Egor reacts very sharply to this ultimatum, countering with 'Do you even understand who I am?'

In Reality

The scene was filmed in the Karmadon Gorge, one of the most dramatic and majestic places in North Ossetia. This place is famous for its steep slopes, giant rock walls, and turbulent mountain rivers that convey the full power of nature.

Egor also shares details about the city – during the plague, people went there to die.
