The main filming location for the series was London. Smithfield Market on Grand Avenue, Regent's Park in North London, Cambridge railway station, the Old Royal Naval College are just some of the iconic places viewers can see in the show. Some scenes were filmed in Essex and Stroud. In the fourth season, the filming area expanded to France.

In Reality

The scene was filmed a stone's throw from Barbican station at 126 Aldersgate Street. The unremarkable red brick building was supplemented with a fake bus stop, garbage bags, and a fake Chinese restaurant "New Empire".

The scene was filmed at the historic Truefitt & Hill barbershop in St. James's, London. The luxurious interior of the barbershop makes it clear that not everyone is served here. Freddie Fox's character does not forget to mention this to spite his sworn enemy.

In Reality

The scene was filmed on the banks of the Regent's Canal in London. This canal is also called Little Venice in London because of its narrow banks and colorful boats that shuttle back and forth carrying tourists. The series creators needed to find a secluded but beautiful place for Diana and Jackson's secret meetings. This place became the Regent's Canal.
