Filming of 'Teen Wolf' began in November 1984 and wrapped a month later. Although the story revolves around Scott, who lives in a small Nebraska town, the crew actually shot the film in the Los Angeles area. Jay Fox had just finished filming the comedy about a teenage werewolf when he took on the role in 'Back to the Future'. As it happens, the two productions share some similar locations. For example, the Howard residence is the place where the 1955 Baines house scenes in 'Back to the Future' were filmed. The tree that George McFly climbs also appears in the comedy.

Scene where Scott fully transforms into a werewolf during the full moon. His father also turns into a wolf, as he carries the gene. In the morning, his father explains that being a werewolf isn't so bad; it even has its advantages and great strength (biting mailmen, barking at cars).

In Reality

The scene was filmed at 1727 Bushnell Avenue, Pasadena. If you happen to wander around the 'Teen Wolf' location, you'll be pleasantly surprised because this location also appeared in 'Back to the Future'. In the 1985 sci-fi film, this house served as the residence of Marty McFly's future mother.

Gymnasium

Scene where Scott realizes he can use his abilities, just as his father told him. Our hero takes on a new form and helps his team, the Beavers, win their first game in three years. Scott becomes an overnight sensation.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Lennox High School gymnasium. This location served as the set and backdrop for all the basketball scenes in the film. The spacious hall, good lighting, and convenient location appealed to the film crew.

Bowling Alley

Scene where Pamela and Scott go on a date intended to make Mick jealous. Angry, partly because of their fake date, Mick tells Scott he doesn't scare him. 'Under all that hair, you're still a jerk, Scott. I've dealt with guys like you before. Your mom used to steal chickens from the yard... Right, Scott?'

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Montrose Bowl bowling center. It opened in 1936 and long existed as a popular spot for film shoots and family leisure. The bowling alley even hosted themed parties and events. Unfortunately, it has recently closed down.
