The popular college film was shot in several Oregon cities: Eugene, Cottage Grove, and Dexter. The campus used for Faber College was the actual University of Oregon campus. Several campus buildings were used, including classrooms, dormitories, and the university stadium. To use the University of Oregon as a filming location, the production paid $20,000. Other scenes were filmed in California at Universal Studios.

The scene was filmed on the University of Oregon campus. Pinto and Flounder exit Carson Hall and walk past Johnson Hall, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, the administration building, and the Knight Library. Many of these buildings frequently appear in the background as the film progresses, and some are later used as backdrops for student pranks and fraternity fun. The University of Oregon campus buildings used in the filming were built in the early to mid-1900s.

Scene where our heroes arrive at a party with a special theme – almost everyone is dressed in togas, the ancient Roman attire of the elite. Despite the style, everyone enjoys a jazz band, dances, and simply has fun.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the Center for Teaching and Learning of Northwest Christian University. Inside the building are spacious lecture halls and group work areas. The surrounding landscape features well-maintained lawns, trees, and convenient pedestrian paths. This location is ideal for filming scenes related to academic life, lectures, research, or even student parties.

Downtown

In the Movie

Scene where the Deltas decide to disrupt the homecoming parade after being expelled by the dean for poor grades. The boys decide to go to the parade after Bluto gives an inspiring speech. They are well-prepared for their mischief.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The parade scenes were shot on the city's main street. This street is adorned with classic facades reminiscent of the golden age of American small towns and is perfect for filming.
