The film is based on the story "Stone Cape" by Nikolai Luginov, and its screenwriter and director Lyubov Borisova noted that working on the project allowed viewers to discover the amazing atmosphere of the northern coast. The film was presented at film festivals in Canada, Germany, and Australia. According to general producer Dmitry Shadrin, this is one of the first Yakut films to be released in wide international distribution.
