The 2005 comedy tells the story of the adventures of a «simple Russian working man» — KamAZ driver Timofey Stepanovich Okopov, who goes to Thailand. The main role was played by Ilya Oleynikov, who also wrote the screenplay. The plot is based on a story by Dmitry Vasilyev «Siamese Voyage of Stepanych». Principal photography took place in the resort city of Pattaya, while scenes set in Chelyabinsk were filmed in Peresvet, Moscow Oblast. The «Camelot Hotel» in Pattaya was used for street scenes, and the interior of a Thai hotel room was filmed at the «Russkiy Dvorik» hotel in Sergiev Posad.

Scene where Stepanych decides to try an extreme activity – a zipline. He stands on the platform, the instructor secures the gear, then the hero takes a step and with a scream launches off the tower. As one might guess from his screams, Stepanych's life flashes before his eyes.

The scene was filmed on the cable car at the «Pattaya Park» tower. This is an open zipline track located at a great height. The starting platform is on a tower offering a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Cables stretch over green areas and pools, and the landing zone is equipped with a platform and instructors. The attraction is designed for guests seeking thrills and exciting emotions.
