The film is a Russian comedy directed by Anton Bogdanov and produced by Bazelevs. It is the eighth installment of the popular New Year's franchise 'Yolki'. Filming took place in various corners of Russia, capturing the unique character and atmosphere of each city. Work on the film began in August in Perm and Tyumen, then in September the crew moved to Krasnoyarsk and Zelenograd. In autumn, the filming team continued in Saransk, where city streets became the backdrop for several storylines. In November, filming took place in Ufa, and closer to winter, the team finished work in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod. Each of these locations brought something special to the film — from snowy streets to festive decorations, creating a warm, familiar, and beloved New Year's picture for the audience.

The scene was filmed near the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. Located on a hill, it offers panoramic views of the Volga and Oka rivers. The scene was filmed at the 'Martial' resort in Tyumen. This is a modern thermal complex located in a picturesque corner outside the city, among coniferous forests and vast plains. The place is famous for its mineral springs that feed the thermal pools, creating an atmosphere of complete relaxation and wellness. The main focus of the resort is the large outdoor pools with warm mineral water, the temperature of which remains comfortable at any time of the year. In winter, it is especially beautiful: thick steam rises above the water, surrounded by snow-covered trees and fresh frosty air, creating a pleasant contrast with the hot water.

The scene was filmed on the square in front of the Perm Academic Theatre-Theatre. In winter, it turns into a lively New Year's location: a large decorated Christmas tree is set up, light installations and festive fair booths appear. The square is ideal for filming large-scale scenes related to holidays, street events, and city celebrations. Its spacious open area, combination of classical and modern architecture, and convenient location make it an attractive place for film production.
