A famous Russian comedy filmed in the format of an amateur video from a wedding. The movie was released in 2013, and its events unfold in picturesque Gelendzhik, where the main shooting took place. In addition, the film team worked in Novorossiysk and the village of Divnomorskoye. The entire filming process took only 23 days. Initially, director Zhora Kryzhovnikov planned to shoot the movie in Moscow, but in the end he chose Gelendzhik, with which he had warm memories from his childhood.

The scene was filmed in the registry office of Gelendzhik, which is located right in the city center, near the picturesque seafront. The building is decorated in a classical style, with columns at the entrance and a light façade creating a solemn atmosphere.

Monument “Tourist”

In the movie

Scene where one of the guests at a wedding decides to take an adventure - to steal the head of a monument in the center of the embankment. His comrade tries to dissuade him, but to no avail. The man is already running fast with the head in his hands. There is an explosion of laughter in the air and enthusiastic shouts from the guests.

In reality

The scene was filmed at the "Tourist" sculpture in Gelendzhik, one of the most recognizable sights on the town's seafront. It is located near the central beach, against the background of a picturesque bay. The monument is a bronze figure of a vacationing tourist in a cap, with a backpack behind his back and a camera in his hands. He stands in a relaxed pose, as if he has just arrived in Gelendzhik and is thinking about where to go next.

Scene where guests notice a man in a hot dog costume and instantly make him the object of everyone's amusement. They laugh, make jokes and even try to steal it. The animator is clearly not having fun, but he is in the minority.

In reality

The scene was filmed on the waterfront of Gelendzhik. This is a famous picturesque place with a panoramic view of the bay, which has become a symbol of the city. On both sides there are cafes, restaurants and shops with sea souvenirs. The line of tall pizund pines, which create a pleasant shade, and numerous sculptures, including the famous "White Bride" and "Tourist", look particularly spectacular.
